Staff are state background-checked. We provide full daytime custodian/porter coverage. Trained backups are assigned for continuity. Nightly teams handle detail work for next-day readiness. Communication runs daily with EFM’s lead custodian. Area managers complete monthly inspections with written reports. Issues are logged digitally with same-day updates and photo proof. Staffing flexes for events and schedule changes.
Health and safety
We use a color-coded microfiber system to prevent cross-contamination: red for restrooms, green for classrooms and desktops, blue for glass and common areas. EPA List N disinfectants are used as needed with closed-loop dilution. HEPA backpack vacuums improve indoor air quality. PPE follows OSHA guidance. Teams hold bloodborne-pathogen training and maintain on-site SDS access. Occupied-space safety includes cones, wet-floor signs, cord management, and quiet equipment. Incidents are reported within 24 hours with notes and photos.
Floors that last
Daily sweep, mop, and auto-scrub maintain cleanliness. VCT gets scheduled strip and refinish during breaks. We add periodic burnishing. Gyms are scrubbed and recoated by plan. Carpets receive vacuuming, spotting, and periodic extraction.
Projects on your calendar
We schedule summer deep cleans and classroom resets. Window cleaning is interior and exterior on a set program. High-dusting and entrance detailing are included. Restrooms receive deep cleans and scrubbing.
Procurement and consumables
EFM partners with large suppliers. Chemical lines include 3M, NCL, and Betco. We offer discounted sale of paper, plastic, and soap with inventory control of those items.
